In Firozabad on Sunday, a two-year-old innocent child was strangled to death by his neighbours. The body of the child was found buried under sacks of wheat in the neighbour’s house. The police have taken the accused mother, daughter and son into custody. The police is interrogating the accused. The accused have taken the body to the village.

They had also dug a pit in a cave outside the house, but they were caught before that. The daughter said that her Badi Amma’s shadow comes upon her. She killed the child on her instructions. At present, the police is questioning all three.

When the father returned home from the field he could not find his son

Devendra alias Kalyan Singh, resident of village Thar Hathi (Kasundi) of Thana Nagla Singhi, is a bike mechanic. Six months ago, his wife Saroj Devi died during childbirth. On Sunday, he left his two-year-old son Rupendra and three-year-old daughter Lovely at home and went to level the field with a tractor near the Seer Devi Mata temple. When he returned home at 12 noon, Rupendra was not found. When he asked his daughter, she too could not tell.

They searched for their son in the surrounding area and all over the village, but he was nowhere to be found. After a lot of searching, Devendra reached his neighbor’s house. When he tried to enter the house, the neighbor’s wife Barfi Devi stopped him. Due to which Devendra and the villagers got suspicious and forcibly entered the house. After a lot of searching, Rupendra’s body was found covered with tarpaulin under the wheat sacks.

Devendra screamed after seeing his son’s dead body. Rupendra had a cloth tied around his neck. He was strangulated to death. Devendra said that when he entered the neighbor Pappu’s house, his daughter Nargis and his son Ravi were coming out of a cave outside the village with a shovel. When the villagers went to the cave on suspicion, they found a pit dug there. Then they informed the police about the incident.

On receiving the information, SP City Sarvesh Mishra, CO Anivesh Kumar and the police station reached the spot. The police took Pappu’s daughter, wife and son into custody. They brought all three to the police station. The police is interrogating the accused. It is being said that the murder was due to enmity.

Father is serving jail term in case of death of child due to electric shock

SP City Sarvesh Mishra said that Pappu, the father of the accused Nargis and her brother Praveen, had applied electric shock on the boundary of the field. During this, Harish, son of Purushottam, a cousin of the family, who was grazing the cattle on the day of Janmashtami, died due to electric shock. Pappu has been in jail for the last eight months in this case.

The incident was carried out at the behest of Badi Amma

Pappu, who is serving jail term, has lost his first wife. He has a daughter Nargis from his second wife Barfi Devi. During police interrogation, Nargis told that her Badi Amma (mother) dominates her. She does whatever she says. She killed Rupendra on Badi Amma’s instructions.

SP City Sarvesh Mishra says that the innocent child has been murdered due to enmity. A cloth has been found around his neck. Whether he was killed by strangulation or by some other means, this information will be known only after the postmortem report. The accused mother, daughter and son have been taken into custody. On receiving the complaint, a case will be registered and the accused will be sent to jail.
