A goods train coming from Kanpur to Prayagraj has derailed near the Kanwar border between Kaushambi Fatehpur. The Delhi Kanpur Prayagraj goods train route has been disrupted due to the derailment of the train. Railway engineers are present on the spot to repair the train route.

On Sunday morning at around 5:20 am, a goods train going from Kanpur to Prayagraj got derailed near Kanwar border. Due to the derailment of the train, the traffic on the down line going towards Kanpur Prayagraj has completely stopped. On receiving the information about the closure of the goods train track, General Manager DFC GB Sharan of Prayagraj Division himself reached the spot with a large number of engineers and gangmen trackmen.

The work of restoring the goods train track was started at around 11 am. The work of repairing the railway track is going on at a fast pace in the scorching sun. It is expected that the goods train route will be made operational in 4 to 5 hours.

Railway employees are busy repairing the track.

Kanpur to Prayagraj goods train route disrupted

GM DFC Prayagraj GB Sharan said – Information about the derailment of the goods train was received at around 5:20 in the morning. The goods train route from Kanpur to Prayagraj is disrupted. After about 3 hours, he himself reached the spot with a team of railway engineers. The work of restoring the track is going on with the help of railway personnel. After about 4-5 hours, the goods train route will be repaired and opened for traffic. A committee has been formed to investigate the reasons for the derailment of the goods train. Soon the investigation team will submit its report to the Railway Ministry after the investigation.
