On Sunday night, a bear entered Kanshiram Colony in Talbehat town of Lalitpur district. When people chased away a bear, it ran straight into the bathroom of a mosque near the police station. Somehow, the villagers closed the bathroom door. After getting the information, the villagers reached the bathroom in the early morning.

A bear entered Kashiram Colony of Kotwali Talbehat area on Sunday night at around 10 o’clock. When people saw the bear, they got scared and chased it away with sticks. The bear ran away from there and entered the bathroom inside the mosque located near the Kotwali. As soon as the bear entered the bathroom, people closed the bathroom door and informed the forest department officials about it. On receiving the information, the forest department team reached the spot at around 3 o’clock in the night and after a lot of effort, the bear was taken out of the bathroom and locked in a cage. After that, the bear was taken to the forest department office located in Talbehat. The bear will be taken to the Etawah forest area, so the forest department team is reaching Lalitpur from Etawah.

Last night at 10:48 pm, townspeople saw a bear inside the mosque

Divisional Director Social Forestry Division Gautam Singh and SDO Sireen jointly informed that last night at 10:48 pm, the people of the town saw a bear inside the mosque behind the police station. Fortunately, the bear was inside the mosque, due to which no incident occurred, if it had been in the open, it could have caused a lot of damage.
