Three-layer security has been arranged at the counting venue during the counting of votes on Monday in Varanasi. Police Commissioner Mohit Agarwal and District Election Officer S. Rajlingam inspected the counting arrangements and preparations at Pahariya Mandi on Sunday. CRPF and police personnel will be present at every nook and corner of the security, a three-tier security ring has been created.
The Police Commissioner has made a three-tier security ring at the counting place as part of tight security arrangements. Inner cadre, middle cadre and outer cadre have been made. CRPF will be the paramilitary force in the inner cadre. PAC jawans will be deployed in the middle cadre and civil police will be deployed in the outer cadre. There will be multiple checking from the gate to the counting place, the security personnel deployed at the point will always be alert. Those entering the counting center will be thoroughly checked. No one is allowed to take out a victory procession. Surveillance is being done through CCTV cameras.
Counting on 14 tables of each assembly
ADM Administration said that preparations have been made for the counting of votes on June 4 in Pahariya Mandi. Votes will be counted on 14 tables in each assembly constituency. In this way, votes will be counted simultaneously on 112 tables in eight assembly constituencies. ADM Administration and Deputy District Election Officer have also inspected it completely.
Vehicle parking 200 meters away from the counting place
He said that the vehicles of those who come here during the counting of votes will be parked 200 meters away. They will have to come on foot. Carrying mobile phones to the counting center will be prohibited. If someone brings a mobile phone, it will have to be kept outside the counting venue. Carrying weapons and inflammable substances will also be prohibited. Media will be allowed entry through Gate No. 1 and agents of political parties will be allowed entry through Gate No. 3.
