A delegation of Supreme Court lawyers reached Amethi today regarding the vote counting to be held in Amethi tomorrow. The delegation went to the DM office along with local lawyers and submitted a memorandum to the SDM demanding fair and transparent vote counting. The advocates submitted a copy of the memorandum

Counting of votes will take place tomorrow after the Lok Sabha elections. There are different reactions among the general public after the exit polls came out before the counting of votes. Demanding fair and transparent counting of votes based on this exit poll, a delegation of advocates reached the Supreme Court with the call to fight to save the Constitution. Dozens of advocates along with the advocates reached the District Magistrate’s office and handed over a memorandum to the SDM and demanded that the counting of votes be done as per the guidelines of the Election Commission. During this the advocates also sent a copy of the memorandum to the Central Election Commission and the State Election Commission.

Qamar Khan, advocates Rohit Awasthi, Janardan Shukla, Ram Mani Mishra, Balmukund Lal, Anand Saxena, Madan Tiwari, Ashwani Pandey, Satish Pathak, Virendra Kumar Mishra, Arvind Kumar Shukla, Mukesh Kumar Pandey, Devanand Mishra, Shailendra Tripathi, Krishnamani Dubey, Ravindra Kumar Mishra, Shivam Tiwari, Jagannath Pal Ramfer, Anant Tripathi Dharmendra Singh and a large number of advocates were present.
