Kedar Jadhav retired from professional cricket: gave information on social media, played 82 matches for India

Kedar Jadhav retired at the age of 39.

Indian cricket team all-rounder Kedar Jadhav announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Monday, June 3. He shared a post on social media, in which Jadhav also shared a slideshow of pictures from his career, with a Kishore Kumar song playing in the background.

Kedar Jadhav confirmed his retirement on Monday at 3 pm IST and wrote in the post, “Thank you all for your love and support throughout my career from 3 pm onwards. Consider me retired from all forms of cricket.”

Jadhav played 73 ODIs and 9 T20s
Kedar Jadhav has played 73 ODIs and 9 T20 matches for India between 2014 and 2020. 39-year-old Jadhav performed brilliantly under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. Jadhav played the 2019 World Cup and was part of the team that reached the semi-finals. He played his last match for India against New Zealand in 2020.

Played IPL for the last time in the year 2023
Jadhav last played IPL for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the second half of IPL 2023. Jadhav was also doing Marathi commentary for Jio Cinema during that time. Overall, he played for two more teams apart from RCB and CSK in the IPL, including Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

In his IPL career, Kedar Jadhav played 95 matches and scored 1208 runs at a strike rate of 123.14, with four half-centuries to his name. His last IPL match was against five-time champions Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium. Now he is thinking of making a career in Marathi commentary.
