The Superintendent of Police ensured that the counting of votes for the Lok Sabha elections-2024 was conducted safely at the Police Parade Ground.

FIR is being filed against users who spread violence through Facebook

An FIR is being registered in the police station against the Facebook user who incited violence with weapons during the vote counting in Ballia. His immediate arrest will be ensured. Ballia Police has not only made strong security arrangements during the vote counting, but is also keeping a close watch on various social media platforms to identify those who spread anarchy and incite violence.

A large number of policemen were present during the briefing.

Action is being taken against those who instigate

In the same sequence, a Facebook user Brahmanvadi Chandrashekhar Choubey is inciting people to reach Ballia Naveen Sabji Mandi Sthal with weapons through his Facebook account. A case has been registered against this person in Kotwali Police Station. A police team has left to arrest him. Ballia Police is committed to take strict action against those who spread anarchy and violence.
