The heat and humidity increased again, but the temperature remained stable at 4-5°C. Meteorologists believe that the heat wave will not go away until the monsoon enters UP on June 20.

However, the movement of clouds will continue till June 4. Due to which there may be intermittent rain in Gorakhpur and surrounding areas. Whereas, monsoon will arrive in UP on June 20. Monsoon will enter UP from Bihar via Deoria-Gorakhpur. In such a situation, there is a possibility that heavy rain will start here before June 20.

Chances of rain only after June 10
Meteorologists believe that during Nautapa, the heat in the last month of May was so intense that changes in the weather of UP can be seen for a few days. There will be more rain in some places and drought-like conditions in some places. There is a good possibility of rain in the districts of UP bordering Nepal.

However, drought-like conditions persist in most districts of Bundelkhand and East UP. Even the pre-monsoon clouds are not fully visible or raining. Favourable conditions for rain may develop after June 10.

Ever since the pre-monsoon has knocked in Uttar Pradesh, the maximum temperature in most districts is below 40°C. At the same time, the minimum temperature was also recorded below 30°C. After June 30, people have got more relief from the heat. Because, the temperature has dropped by 4-5°C.

According to the Meteorological Department, like yesterday i.e. Sunday, today on Monday also the temperature will remain 39-40°C due to clouds and strong winds. Partial clouds will also be seen. Despite this, the heat index will also increase due to increased humidity. Due to which people will not get much relief from the heat. But, there is a possibility of light storm and rain in the next two days as well.

Strong wind will put a break on rising temperature
Meteorologist Dr. Kailash Pandey said that after the end of Nautapa, the season of storms and rain is in full swing. During this time, dusty winds and showers along with storms are most commonly seen due to the Western Disturbance low pressure area. This also puts a brake on the rising temperature.
