50-year-old Bharose Lal Ahirwar, a resident of village Badhai ka Kuan Mindarwaha of Kotwali Mahroni area, was posted in Home Guard in Lalitpur. He was posted in Ghazipur during the last phase of voting in the Lok Sabha elections. After doing election duty, he was returning home by bus along with his other colleagues. Then due to extreme heat, his health suddenly deteriorated near Mahoba. After which he was sent to Jhansi Medical College for treatment, but he died on the way. His body reached home on Monday, where he was cremated with full honors and was saluted by the officials, staff and villagers.

During this period, Piyushkant Divisional Commandant Jhansi, Police Circle Officer Mahroni Ajay Kumar, Inspector in charge of Mahroni Kotwali Ramesh Chandra Mishra, Jagdish Chandra R.I. Police Line, Deputy Tehsildar Dhirendra Kumar, Accountant Kuldeep Khare along with Chhatrapal Singh Kisarda, Tulsiram Kushwaha, Narendra Singh, Hargovind Singh, Insaf Ali, Hakim Singh and many others were present.
