A feast was organized by Cooperative Housing Construction and Finance Corporation in Lucknow. A large number of people stood in queue and took prasad. Poonam Awasthi, one of the organizers of the feast, said that her department organizes a feast every year.

The number of bhandaaras organised in Lucknow is not organised anywhere else in the state. Poonam Awasthi said, the bhandaaras organised in Lucknow are an example of Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb. People of all religions participate in it.
Raghuveer Singh, who was distributing prasad in the bhandaara, said that he is serving people by participating in the bhandaara held on Bade Mangal. It is a matter of good fortune for him. He said that the bhandaara has been taking place for the past several years. In which all the people of the department participate enthusiastically.
