Six rounds of counting have been completed on Sambhal seat. SP’s Ziaur Rahman Barq is trailing. BJP’s Parmeshwar Lal Saini has taken a lead of 7605 votes. Six rounds of counting have been completed. Counting is being done under the surveillance of CCTV cameras.

The total voter population in Sambhal Lok Sabha constituency is 18,92,360. There are 10,09,956 male voters and 8,82,282 female voters, besides 122 third gender voters. Counting of votes will take place at Bahjoi Warehouse on June 4 in Sambhal district today. All preparations have been completed to conduct the counting peacefully and route diversion has been done by the police.

Bharatiya Janata Party had made Parmeshwar Lal Saini its candidate. Samajwadi Party had made Kundarki SP MLA Ziaur Rahman Bark its candidate and Bahujan Samaj Party had fielded Chaudhary Shaulat Ali as its candidate. Let us tell you that apart from SP, BJP and BSP, 09 candidates are in the fray.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Samajwadi Party candidate Dr. Shafiqur Rahman Barq became the MP from Sambhal and in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Satyapal Singh Saini became the MP from Sambhal.

Let us tell you that Sambhal, Chandausi, Asmoli and Bilari and Kundarki assembly constituencies of Moradabad district come under Sambhal Lok Sabha constituency-08. Counting of votes of Sambhal, Asmoli, Chandausi and Gunnaur assembly constituencies of Sambhal district will be done at Bahjoi Warehouse in Sambhal. Let us tell you that Gunnaur assembly constituency comes under Badaun Lok Sabha constituency. Counting of votes of Bilari and Kundarki assembly constituencies of Sambhal Lok Sabha constituency will be done at Navin Mandi Samiti of Moradabad district.

Security of counting place in three layers
The three-layer security at the counting venue has been divided into inner cadre, middle cadre and outer cadre. Paramilitary forces will be in the inner cadre. PAC jawans will be deployed in the middle cadre and civil police will be deployed in the outer cadre. Security personnel will always be alert.

Vehicles will be parked 200 meters away
The entire counting venue including the strong room has been equipped with CCTV. Vehicles of people coming to the counting venue will be parked 200 metres away. Police officers and the District Election Officer will inspect the preparations from time to time.

These things cannot be taken to the counting venue
Those entering the counting centre will be thoroughly checked. Carrying mobile phones inside will be prohibited. If someone brings a mobile phone, it will have to be kept outside the counting centre. Similarly, carrying weapons and inflammable substances will also be prohibited.

Only candidates and election agents will be allowed entry
Very strict security arrangements have been made at the counting venue. Only the candidates and their election agents will be allowed to enter the inner circle of the counting venue. Apart from the counting staff, only the officials on counting duty will be allowed to enter here. Apart from this, no one else will be allowed to enter the inner circle.

Action will be taken on taking out victory procession
There will be a ban on the victory procession of the winning candidate and his supporters. Crowds will not be allowed to gather around the counting venue. The police have made special arrangements for this. The entire area will be converted into a cantonment by the police from 5 am on the day of counting.
