Due to fire in the transformer, electricity was cut off in many houses.
A transformer suddenly caught fire in Bulandshahr. It started burning fiercely. Electricity supply to about 5 thousand houses was cut off. On the other hand, a transformer caught fire near Balmiki Basti in Kayasthwada at night and power supply to many localities was cut off. This led to power supply to about 6 to 7 houses.

The batteries of the houses also got discharged due to the fire in the transformer near Valmiki Basti in Mohalla Kayasthwada. The residents of the locality spent the night with the help of hand fans. The children were crying due to the scorching heat. On the other hand, on Tuesday evening at 4:30, a transformer kept near the madrasa in Mohalla Gorakhi suddenly caught fire.
Lights were restored after about 2 hours
There was chaos in the locality due to the fire. The fire brigade team which reached the spot after getting the information, controlled the fire after a lot of hard work. JE Shivam Kumar said that the transformer which caught fire in Mohalla Gorakhi has been completely damaged. A new transformer will be installed in its place. Electricity supply will be restored smoothly in about 2 hours.
Due to fire in the transformer, electricity was cut off in many houses.
