The investigating police recovered the body of the innocent child from the straw in the neighbor’s room late on Tuesday night. The body was stuffed in a sack and hidden in the straw in the cattle shed. The accused girl has confessed to the incident. The police is also interrogating the girl’s father and brother.

Now know the whole matter
Dinesh, a resident of Gondri village, works as a labourer in Gujarat to support his family. His wife Poonam lived in the village with her only five-year-old son Akshat. In the evening, Akshat left home to play and did not return home till evening. The family looked for him till 10 pm. Then the family searched for him. But when he was not found, uncle Mahesh went to the police station and registered a missing report of his nephew Akshat.

The police was investigating after registering a missing person report. SO Rajeshwar Tripathi arrived with his team and searched the ponds, drains and other places around the house. Meanwhile, Akshat’s body was found lying in a sack inside the straw in the house of neighbor Suresh late on Tuesday night. Mother Poonam became distraught with crying after receiving the news of the murder of her only son.

After the incident, the police interrogated the neighbour girl, her father Ramesh and brother besides Suresh. It is being said that the family has no enmity with Suresh. The police interrogated the neighbour girl and her family thoroughly on all points.

The police reached the spot and are investigating. They are questioning the people living nearby.

Making fun of mother proved costly
The girl’s father Ramesh said that his daughter Madhu had taken the child away. The police picked up Madhu and when she was questioned strictly she revealed the truth. Madhu said that the child’s mother Poonam used to make fun of her character and her sister-in-law’s relationship using harsh words. She could not tolerate this. To teach her a lesson by snatching away her happiness, she planned to kill Poonam’s only son. She took the child with her on some pretext.

After this, to prevent the child from making any noise, she first stuffed a cloth in his mouth. Later, she killed him by stabbing him at the back of the neck. After killing him, she threw the knife at the back there itself. She packed the body in a sack and buried it in the straw in the cattle shed of her neighbour Suresh Prajapati. After that, she quietly left from there. Based on her indication, the police recovered the body, the knife and the clothes of the dead child. The police have also picked up a relative of the girl, a resident of Bangarmau, and are interrogating him.

There is a crowd of people at the child’s house. The mother is crying badly.

People told that the child used to call the girl bua (aunt). So he also went with them. The girl who was picked up by the police had gone away with some of her relatives a year ago. She came back home after six months. The child’s mother used to tease him about the same.

CO Safipur Rishi Kant Shukla said that a few days ago an 18 year old girl from the neighbourhood had run away from home with a young man. The girl’s mother used to taunt the neighbour. Angered by this, the neighbour stabbed the girl in the neck and killed her, stuffed the body in a sack and hid it in the neighbour’s house. The girl has been taken into custody and all the angles of the reason for the murder are being investigated.
