Delay in announcement of candidates
The first reason for the defeat of the BJP candidate in Firozabad Lok Sabha is the delay in announcing the name of the candidate. Akshay Yadav had started door to door campaign as SP candidate 6 months ago. There the BJP could not even seal the name of its candidate. The name of the BJP candidate was sealed two days before the end of the nomination process.

This was the second reason for the defeat
The second biggest reason for the defeat of the BJP candidate is that all the contenders in the race for the ticket were sidelined and the home-bound worker Vishwadeep Singh was made the candidate. Whereas he had not even applied for the ticket. Due to this, there was disappointment among the workers who had applied and their displeasure proved costly in the elections.

The third reason for the defeat
There was resentment among senior and junior BJP leaders and workers regarding the candidate, due to which their enthusiasm also decreased. They were also working internally to defeat the candidate.

The fourth reason is the reason for defeat
This time SP got the support of Nishads along with Yadavs. Due to which SP got an edge in Tundla and Jasrana area whereas BJP saw a lack of enthusiasm among BJP workers in this Lok Sabha election.

The votes of Baghel and Lodhi community were also divided
The Baghel and Lodhi community, which supported the BJP, also appeared divided this time. This time the Baghel community appeared scattered amid allegations and counter-allegations between the Kshatriya and Baghel communities. Leaving the BJP, it worked to strengthen the SP.

These were the biggest reasons for SP’s victory
There was no confusion about the name of the SP candidate in the Lok Sabha elections. Akshay Yadav is the candidate. Everyone already knew this. The unity of Yadav and Muslim voters led to SP’s victory. This time Muslim voters strengthened SP by rejecting Muslim BSP candidate like Chaudhary Bashir. SP was successful in conveying the message to SC class that if BJP forms the government, it will change the constitution and reservation. SP was also successful in making a dent in BJP’s vote bank.
