The problems may increase if the PCS officer of Uttar Pradesh does not give information about his property. Actually, the PCS officers of UP had to give the details of their income by February 28, but till now this information has not been uploaded on the government portal Sparrow.

Most of the officers are reluctant to give information about their income. Due to which the appointment department has now started taking strict action. The department has issued a letter to all PCS officers and departments and instructed them to upload income related information on the website by June 30 at any cost. If they do not do so, they have been asked to be ready for disciplinary action.
28th February was the last day, the appointment department gave a warning
In a letter issued by Dhananjay Kumar Shukla, Special Secretary, Appointment Department, all PCS officers have been strictly instructed to upload their information on the website now, otherwise be ready for strict action. In fact, earlier an order was issued to the PCS officers to compulsorily provide information about their movable and immovable assets on sparrow-pcs-up.gov.in by 28 February 2024.
Even after the order, many PCS officers have not filled the details of their movable and immovable assets. Officers who have not yet filled their annual movable and immovable assets details online, giving them a last chance, the Appointment Department has extended the last date for providing the information till June 30.
State Instructions were also given to the heads of all the departments
All the heads of departments in Uttar Pradesh have been instructed that all PCS officers posted under them must upload the details of their movable and immovable assets on the Sparrow website by June 30. If they fail to do so, strict action will be taken against them.
20 lakh employees have to give details of their assets
About 20 lakh employees of Uttar Pradesh have to upload the details of their property on the Manav Sampada portal. This process is also ongoing. It is believed that many officers and employees who have acquired more property than their income are shying away from giving information so that no action is taken against them. But now that the entire system has become online, there is pressure on officers and employees to give the details of their property as soon as possible. It is believed that in the changed circumstances, strict action can be taken against such officers.
