While Congress has won 7 seats. On the information of sudden temple visit, hundreds of SP workers reached there. However, Akhilesh Yadav left for Saifai from there without talking to anyone. Today he will rest for the night at his residence in Saifai.

During the Lok Sabha elections, from SP chief Akhilesh Yadav to other senior party leaders, all were seen remembering Mulayam Singh Yadav from time to time and going among the people and appealing for votes. On reaching his village Saifai, Samajwadi Party national president and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav held a brief meeting with party members. Party members, excited by the election results in the parliamentary elections, congratulated him on his victory.

Late in the evening, Akhilesh Yadav arrived to inspect the under-construction Kedareshwar temple located near Etawah Lion Safari. After visiting the temple premises for about 15 minutes, Akhilesh Yadav closely observed the construction arrangements. On reaching the temple, Akhilesh Yadav first garlanded the stone installed in the Kedareshwar temple and blessed it. During this, many prominent leaders of the party including senior Samajwadi Party leader Ashu Malik were also present.
