Following the orders of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Revenue Department held a review meeting on Monday on matters related to Gharauli. During this, Revenue Council Chairman Rajneesh Dubey took strict action against revenue officials for negligence in departmental work.

Lucknow, Prayagraj and Varanasi have the worst situation in dispute resolution
In the case of pending revenue cases of Uttar Pradesh, the situation of Lucknow, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Barabanki was found to be the worst. Regarding which, Revenue Council Chairman Rajneesh Dubey has given instructions to update all Khatauni in real time by June 30.
Show cause notice issued to ADM and SDM as well
After review by Revenue Council Chairman Rajneesh Dubey, taking major action, notices were issued to 124 revenue officers. Along with real time Khatauni and Gharonee updating, show cause notices were issued to ADM, SDM, Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar level officers for negligence in resolving revenue disputes.
Shamli, Farrukhabad, Amethi And Kushinagar on top
The districts which have completed 100 percent real time Khatauni work include Shamli, Farrukhabad, Amethi and Kushinagar. Whereas 99.94 percent work has been completed in Sultanpur, 99.91 percent in Amroha, 99.91 percent in Moradabad, 99.86 percent in Kasganj, 99.84 percent in Siddharthnagar and 99.83 percent in Ambedkarnagar. The districts where the least work has been done include Kanpur Nagar (72.24 percent), Chitrakoot (82.24 percent), Balrampur (84.32 percent), Meerut (87.43 percent), Kaushambi (87.43 percent), Baghpat (87.46 percent), Jaunpur (88.68 percent) and Bahraich (91.13 percent). Work has been completed to a large extent in these districts and all these districts have been instructed to complete the work by December.
Instructions for speedy work in 13 districts
Apart from this, there are about 13 districts where 100 or more villages are still to be transformed. These include the highest number of 854 villages in Prayagraj, 391 in Jaunpur, 377 in Varanasi, 302 in Kanpur Nagar, 169 in Sitapur, 159 in Balrampur, 156 in Gorakhpur, 129 in Kheri, 125 in Fatehpur, 120 in Bahraich, 109 in Gonda, 107 in Kaushambi and 100 in Chitrakoot. These districts have also been instructed to complete the work by December.
