Khushi Lal’s son Sachin, 22, a resident of Sonbarsa village of Manda police station area, had gone to his sister’s house on Monday afternoon with his friend Shivam, son of Balram, 20. Both were returning from there on a bike. At around 10 o’clock at night
Near the Piari canal, a speeding car coming from the front hit the bike hard. The bike fell away due to the severe collision. Both the youths were seriously injured in the accident.
The car occupants fled with the car. The villagers immediately helped and picked up the injured. Sachin died on the spot in the accident while Shivam was brought to the city hospital for treatment. When Sachin’s family got the news of his death, there was chaos in the house. The deceased’s wife fainted after hearing the news.
