The elder daughter-in-law of Devi Baksh Singh, who was a three-time MP from Unnao, has a cold store in Safipur. A woman from the same place has forcibly encroached upon the access road. On her complaint, the revenue officials measured the land. Meanwhile, the woman is threatening to commit suicide.

Anil Singh, wife of Mahavir Singh, the elder son of three-time BJP MP Devi Baksh Singh, a resident of Rajdhani Marg, Shuklaganj, while giving a letter to the Unnao DM, said that she has a cold storage in Safipur, whose main gate is on Hardoi-Unnao Road, whose land is 5 bighas. Trucks keep coming and going to the cold storage. Due to losses during the Corona period, the cold storage was permanently closed. Despite this, she keeps visiting there.
Accused of illegal occupation by keeping a kiosk
She said that in the year 2022, her husband got a lung disease. Due to which she could not reach the cold storage. Taking advantage of this, Rambabu son of Hemraj Kashyap, Alok son of Rambabu Kashyap, a resident of Safipur town, illegally occupied the main gate of the cold storage by placing a paan kiosk. When this was discovered, they got the encroachment removed. The people who occupied it behaved indecently and abused, a complaint of which was made to the local police and Unnao SP, but no hearing was held on it.
Accused of pressuring to sell land
He said that a complaint was lodged on 8 June 2024 in Thana Diwas. After this, the police asked Rambabu and his sons to come to the police station with the documents but they did not come. After this, the Lekhpal was sent to the spot and the land was measured. Here Rambabu and his wife are misleading Geeta and the children and pressuring me to sell the said land by giving unnecessary applications. My husband should sell the land purchased by him to the land mafia.
She said that I am getting my husband treated for his illness. I am being mentally harassed by these people. On which the DM has assured that soon a team will be formed from the district and the land will be measured.
