India defeated America by 7 wickets in the 25th match of the T20 World Cup. The Indian team won the toss and decided to bowl on Wednesday at the Nassau County Cricket Stadium. America scored 110 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, the Indian team achieved the target for 3 wickets in 18.2 overs.
For the first time in the T20 World Cup, a team was penalized for a late-over. After the over of America’s Corey Anderson, Jasdeep Singh could not bowl the late ball within 8 seconds. Not only this, India’s Arshdeep Singh became the first Indian bowler to take a wicket on the first ball of a T20 World Cup match. In the run chase, Surya scored a fifty on 49 balls, which was the slowest among Indians.

2. Surya is the slowest Indian to score a fifty in T20 World Cup
Indian batsman Suryakumar Yadav became the slowest player to score a fifty for Team India. He scored a half-century in 49 balls against America. He left Virat Kohli behind. Kohli scored a half-century in 45 balls against Pakistan in the year 2021.
Surya is the 5th player to score the slowest fifty in the overall T20 World Cup. Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan tops this list. Rizwan scored a half-century against Canada in 52 balls at the same New York ground in this World Cup.
3. Virat is the fourth Indian to get out on zero the most number of times
Virat Kohli got out on zero against America on Wednesday. He has become fourth in the list of players who have been out on zero the most number of times in international cricket. Kohli got out on zero for the 36th time. He left Anil Kumble behind. Zaheer Khan is at the top of this list. Khan got out on zero a record 43 times.
4. Virat is the 8th Indian to be out on the first ball in T20 World Cup
Indian team’s star batsman Virat Kohli became the 8th Indian to get out on zero on the first ball. Before this, 7 more players have been out. In this, 4 players got out against Pakistan, 2 against South Africa and one player got out for a golden duck against Australia.
5. Arshdeep is the fourth Indian to take the most wickets, leaving Bumrah behind
