Efforts are being made to clarify the cause of death

Sandeep Chaudhary, brother of the deceased Pradeep Chaudhary, who reached the spot, identified the body as Pradeep Chaudhary. The police of Chhapiya police station took the body in their custody, got the Panchayat Nama done and sent it for postmortem and is engaged in further investigation. Actually, the deceased 38-year-old Pradeep Chaudhary is a resident of Karanpur village. He had left his house yesterday evening for some work.

When he did not reach home till late night, the family members did not look for him because the deceased was a drug addict. He would often not return home after getting drunk. But when the body of the deceased was found lying in the morning, there was a stir among the family members. The family members are inconsolable. At present, the police have sent the body for postmortem and are trying to clarify the cause of death.

Further investigation is underway

Regarding the whole matter, Chhapia police station in-charge Krishna Gopal Rai said that the local people informed that the body of a young man was lying behind the cold storage. When we reached the spot, we saw that the body was lying there and the young man had died.

When we asked the local people to identify the body, the deceased’s brother identified the body as his brother Pradeep Chaudhary. There are injury marks on the deceased’s eye. At present, the body has been sent for postmortem. Further investigation is being done.
