Actually, the authority is continuously running campaigns to demolish illegal constructions. So far, the authority has freed about 2 lakh square meters of land from encroachment. The cost of this land is around 600 crores. In this sequence, on Wednesday also, a team reached Noida Sarfabad with three JCBs and 50 workers. Local police and authority police were present here. As soon as the authority started the JCB to remove the illegal construction, farmer organizations reached there at the same time.

The farmers alleged that this land is inhabited land. And the matter of inhabited settlement is with the High Power Committee. Therefore it will not be demolished. At the same time, the authority officials presented the documents of Khasra number 160 and told that this land is 290 square meters. Its price is around 4 crores. And it is planned as per the Master Plan 2031. During this, there was a lot of altercation between the two sides. After which the authority team had to return.
