Afghanistan qualified for the Super-8 of T20 World Cup: Gulbadin Naib gave victory by hitting a six, Farooqi took 3 wickets

Afghanistan has made it to the Super-8 of the T20 World Cup. The team has defeated Papua New Guinea by 7 wickets.

After winning the toss, Afghanistan decided to bowl. Batting first, Papua New Guinea was all out for 95 runs in 19.5 overs. Fazalhaq Farooqi took 3 wickets for 16 runs in a spell of 4 overs. In reply, Afghanistan chased the target in 15.1 overs losing 3 wickets. Gulbadin Naib played an unbeaten innings of 49 runs.
