The bodies of Krishna Avtar Goyal’s son Ashish and daughter-in-law Jyoti, residents of TP Nagar Kamala Nagar, Meerut, have arrived in Meerut. The husband and wife had gone to Tirupati Balaji for darshan along with their 7-year-old child. Both of them died in a road accident there. Only their 7-year-old son Shiven survived. Both of them were injured.

On Wednesday, Ashish and Jyoti died in a road accident on the way to Tirupati Balaji. The car rammed into a truck and an accident occurred. Both husband and wife died in this accident. Only son Shiven survived. As soon as the family members in Meerut got the news of the accident, they were inconsolable. The family members from Meerut reached Bengaluru on Thursday itself but due to paper work the dead bodies could not be brought to Meerut on Thursday. The bodies have been brought to Meerut today. The car rammed into the truck from the side
Krishna Avtar Goyal said that his son, daughter-in-law and grandson went to Bangalore by flight and from there they were going to Tirupati Balaji in a friend’s Nexon car. About 12 km from the temple, in Chittoor’s Pagla police station area, at around 3:30 am on Wednesday, their car collided with a truck moving ahead from the side. His son and daughter-in-law were in the front seat and both died on the spot.
The grandson was sitting behind so he survived. On getting the information, younger son Vaibhav, nephew Ayush, brother-in-law Manish went there and got the post-mortem of their bodies done. Grandson Shiven is also with them, he is injured. Today they have brought him to Meerut.
