STF arrested PWD contract employee Amir, contractor Arvind Singh alias Pintu and Amit Yadav. Arvind has cheated the government by making payments for the supply of gravel, sand and ballast without doing any work. STF is investigating the laptop and other documents recovered from them. An attempt has also been made to erase documents from the mobile, which the police is trying to recover.

All three accused are from Gorakhpur
Arvind Singh is a resident of Millennium City Karimnagar Chowk Vishnupuram Colony Sports College in Chiluatal area. Whereas, Amit Yadav is a resident of the lane near Girdharganj Petrol Pump in AIIMS area and Mohammad Aamir is a resident of Sone Ki Kalash Wali lane in Mirzapur in Rajghat area.

Officers are also suspected of being involved in the gang
At the same time, STF suspects that not only employees and contractors but some officers of the department may also be involved in this gang. At present, STF is investigating the entire network of this gang. STF claims that soon some more big revelations related to this gang may be made.

Arvind is registered in major departments like PWD and NHAI
Actually, Arvind is a government contractor and he is registered with big departments like electricity, irrigation, PWD, NHAI. He included contract employees Amir and Amit Yadav in his gang. After this, all of them together became experts in getting payments without doing any work. For this, they also made arrangements with the officers of the department.

Payment is not possible without the connivance of officers
According to STF, Arvind was in contact with truck drivers and crusher operators. He used this to collect the real registration number of royalty. Before payment, only the royalty number is checked, not its duration. This gang was taking advantage of this. During interrogation, many officers have also come under the scope of investigation, because this is not possible without their connivance.

STF had received information about the fraud
STF Inspector Satyaprakash Singh said, STF had received information about getting payments of crores of rupees without doing any work by using royalty. The team was continuously working on this information. Meanwhile, through surveillance and information from informers, it was found that government contractor Arvind Singh is the kingpin of this gang and he is running this entire gang along with contract employee Mohammad Aamir and his partner Amit Yadav.

FIR registered in AIIMS police station
On this information, the STF team surrounded the three in AIIMS area and caught them on Friday. The STF has filed a case against the three in AIIMS police station and lodged them. Currently, the team is busy investigating the network of this gang.
