In a village located in Payagpur area of ​​Bahraich, angry nephews killed their uncle by beating him with sticks in a dispute between children over plucking mangoes from the orchard. The death of the deceased created a furore among the family members. On receiving the information, Payagpur police and field unit reached the spot.

55-year-old Motilal, a resident of Paschim Pasianpurva, Hansuwapara of Payagpur police station, had an argument with Ramraj and his two sons over children plucking mangoes. During this, the attackers continuously showered sticks on Motilal. Due to which he got serious injuries on his head and body. Motilal fell unconscious. The attackers fled from the spot. Seriously injured Motilal’s family hurriedly took him to Payagpur CHC where doctors declared him dead after examination.

The deceased’s son-in-law filed a complaint and demanded action

As soon as the information about the murder was received, there was a stir in the police department. Payagpur CO Hira Lal Kanaujia, SHO Kamal Shankar Chaturvedi reached the spot with the police force. The body has been taken into custody and sent for postmortem. Payagpur police station in-charge said that the deceased’s son-in-law has given a complaint. A case of murder has been registered against three people. The accused will be arrested soon.
