After the complaint of city MLA Akash Saxena in Rampur, District Magistrate Jogendra Singh has now come into action. He has recommended the suspension of District Probation Officer (DPO) Lavkush Bhargava. This action has been taken when the MLA himself inspected the Government Children Home.

On the night of August 12, the Civil Lines police found a two-year-old abandoned child near the Government Ashram Paddhati Inter College. On receiving the information, city MLA Akash Saxena reached the Civil Lines police station. After getting complete information from the police, he got his colleague to call the DPO, but even after 25 calls, the DPO did not respond. He himself took the child to the district hospital, but no employee was present in the child line running there. Apart from this, many deficiencies were also found in the Government Shishu Sadan.
Recommendation for suspension sent to Child Development Department
On this, city MLA Akash Saxena gave all the information to District Magistrate Jogendra Singh. After ordering an inquiry, the District Magistrate has recommended the suspension of DPO Lavkush Bhargava and informed the Principal Secretary of Child Development Department.
