This stadium had a capacity of 34 thousand spectators, the stands here were brought from the Formula-1 competition.

The American stage of the T20 World Cup is about to end. 14 out of the 16 matches to be held in America had been played till Friday. Now only two matches are left in Florida. After this, matches from Super-8 to the final will be played in the West Indies.

The work of dismantling the temporary stadium built in Nassau County, New York has also begun. The stadium, which was built in 106 days, will be dismantled in about 6 weeks. After that, only an empty ground will be seen here. However, the outfield and pitch used during the World Cup will remain intact.

This slow outfield and the abnormal bounce of the drop-in pitches were criticized a lot during the 8 matches played here. The slowness of the ground was such that the Nassau Stadium is now recorded as the slowest ground in the T20 World Cup. The average run rate in the T20 World Cup matches here was just 5.74 runs per over, which is the lowest among the 38 venues in the history of the competition. This is the ground where runs were scored at less than 6 runs per over in the World Cup.

Pitches made abroad for the first time
Drop-in pitch was used in Nassau County Stadium in New York. Drop-in pitch is made outside the ground and then installed in the stadium. The pitch of Nassau Stadium was made in Australia. In January this year, 10 pitches were brought to Florida in America by sea, where after preparing them for 5 months, they were fitted in Nassau Stadium in May itself.

A drop-in pitch was used for the T20 World Cup. It was transported from Australia to the US.
