The team of Sub Inspector Ramsharan Yadav and Sub Inspector Mahendra Rawat of Bansdih Road Police Station arrested the thieves who had committed thefts in Parikhara and other areas of the police station on different dates from the garden located near the Parikhara Panchayat Bhawan on the information of an informer.

They were arrested

Police arrested Vikas Kumar Gupta, son of Banarasi Gupta, Javed Ahmad, son of Shaukat, Rahul Gupta, son of Munna Prasad Gupta and Rahul alias Pappu Gond, son of Rambachan Gond, residents of village Bedua, Kotwali police station, Ballia district, with previously stolen jewellery and sale money.

The accused was arrested on charges of theft.

The accused said that they used to support their family with the stolen money

On interrogation by the police, all the accused told that we are an organized gang. The leader of our gang is Vikas Kumar Gupta. We support ourselves and our families by selling stolen jewellery and other valuables and by dividing the money obtained from it and the money obtained during theft among ourselves.

Reiki was performed before carrying out the incident

The accused further said that we roam around and do recce during the day and target the houses which are locked because there is less chance of getting caught. Then we carry out the theft in the recced house at night. We commit theft in such colonies where new houses are being built because cameras are not installed in such houses. The police challaned the arrested accused to the court under relevant sections.
