In Banda, the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police held a meeting with the officials to ensure that Bakrid and Bada Mangal festival are celebrated in a peaceful and safe manner. District Magistrate Durga Shakti Nagpal and Superintendent of Police Ankur Aggarwal said in the Collectorate that Bakrid should be celebrated with mutual harmony and brotherhood.

In the meeting, the elite citizens said that the festival will be celebrated peacefully and with mutual harmony. The District Magistrate instructed all the officers to remain alert in view of the Bakrid festival and said that if any problem arises anywhere, it should be resolved immediately. He instructed the Executive Engineer Electricity to ensure that there is no unnecessary power cut. If there is an electrical fault anywhere, it should be repaired immediately.
While instructing the Executive Engineer, Jal Nigam and Jal Sansthan to ensure adequate supply of drinking water, he said that there should be no problem related to drinking water anywhere. He also instructed the Executive Officers and District Panchayat Raj Officer to ensure better cleanliness in the area.
He said that Section 144 is still in force, so everyone should celebrate festivals with mutual harmony and peace, otherwise strict action will be taken. He said that all officers must receive their phones and solve the problems of the public on time.
