Bathing at the Ganga Ghat of Anupshahr started from the Brahma Muhurta itself. Actually, devotees started coming to the Ganga Ghats of Anupshahr and Aahar from late Saturday night itself. It is believed that bathing in the Ganga on Ganga Dussehra pleases the gods. Due to this, after bathing in the Ganga, the devotees offered prayers and prasad in the temples situated on the banks of the Ganga.

The administration made strong security arrangements
In view of the crowd of people on the ghats, strict security arrangements have been made. In which PAC flood platoon soldiers, private divers and boats are deployed on the Ganga Ghats. In case of any untoward incident, the accident can be prevented by acting immediately. The police administration has also made extensive arrangements in view of the Ganga bath. During this time, the police force is also keeping an eye on the activities of anti-social elements etc. Along with this, arrangements have also been made in view of the traffic jam on the bathing ghat routes. To avoid traffic jam in the town, proper parking arrangements have been made by the administration.

Devotees are getting the children’s tonsure ceremony done
After taking bath in Ganga at Avantika Devi and Siddha Baba Ghat in Aahar, the devotees reached Maa Mansa Devi temple and offered prayers. On Ganga Dussehra of Jeth, a large number of people are reaching the Ganga Ghats of Anupshahr and Aahar to get the tonsure of their children done.
