The technical cell of the Planning Department has started the process of determining the Project Management Consultant (PMC) agency to complete these works. All the construction work under the project is being completed through Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC). In such a situation, determining the PMC agency will help in ensuring the quality and progress of all the construction under the project and completing it within the stipulated time period. To complete this process, applications have been sought through Request for Proposal (RPF) medium.
18 Construction work will have to be completed within a month
The PMC agency appointed for the completion of both the projects will have to complete several important tasks. On one hand, the PMC agency will have to complete the architectural design related to the construction of the forensic lab under construction in Azamgarh within 75 days after the work is allotted. After the completion of the architectural design, all the construction work will be completed in 18 months. A defect liability period of 36 months has been fixed during the entire work period. Similarly, the PMC agency that has received the work allotment for the new district jail under construction in Hathras will have to ensure that all the construction work is completed in 18 months with full quality. During this time, the PMC agency will have to work as a supervision agency and a defect liability period of 36 months has been fixed under the project.
Many Types of construction work to be completed
The PMC agency will have to complete the reporting and monitoring process of all the construction work being done under both the projects. It will have to ensure that various functional requirements are fulfilled according to the needs here along with the construction of creative indoor spaces, proper space planning in both the projects. Integrated design of electrical, mechanical and other services will have to be worked upon while ensuring high quality along with low maintenance. Along with following environmental standards, all the processes like green building, excellent ventilation, climate friendly architecture, waste water recycling, water conservation and rain water harvesting along with water and solid waste management will also be completed under the supervision of the agency.
