The minimum temperature at the Air Force Weather Station reached 35.2 degrees. This is the highest of the season. The minimum temperature at CSA was 31.5 degrees Celsius. Due to this, the night heat also increased. Due to the maximum percentage of humidity being 36 and the minimum being 16, suffocating conditions also arose. The speed of the heat wave during the day was 30 to 35 km per hour. Its effect was felt at night as well.

Red alert for heatwave till June 18
The direction of the north-western winds has changed due to which Kanpur continues to be the hottest place in the state. The maximum temperature recorded at the Air Force Weather Station was 46.3 degrees Celsius. The speed of the heat wave was 30-35 km per hour. Hot winds blew even at night. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heat wave till June 18.
Strong north-western winds have started blowing since morning. Gradually these winds have turned into a strong heatwave. These dry winds have made it so hot since 9:30 that there is silence on the roads.
The day’s temperature is not decreasing
The maximum temperature at the Air Force Weather Station was 46.3 degrees which was about five degrees more than normal. Similarly, the maximum temperature at the CSA University Weather Station was 45 degrees which was 4.5 degrees more than normal. The maximum temperature has remained at a constant high. Due to no decrease in it, there is an outbreak of heat.

There will be no relief from red alert right now
CSA meteorologist Dr. SN Sunil Pandey said that there will be no relief from the heatwaves right now. Red alert will remain in place in eastern Uttar Pradesh till the 18th. During this time, a strong heatwave will blow.
There is no possibility of thunderstorms but when the temperature is high, there is often a possibility that a low pressure area may form and strong winds may blow. The heat will continue. The temperature will remain like this for a few days.
