Commissioner Chaitra V. held a meeting with the DM and other officials regarding the arrangements for the examination.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination will be held on Sunday at 27 centers in Aligarh. The examination will be conducted in two shifts at all the centers, in which all the candidates will participate. There will be examination of different subjects in both the shifts.

To conduct the examination in a transparent and cheating-free manner, the examination will be conducted under strict supervision at all the centres. Officers have been deployed for this. Magistrates and police personnel will be deployed at the centres from the morning itself and will keep an eye on every candidate coming and going. Candidates will be allowed to enter the centre only after thorough checking.

11926 candidates are registered in Aligarh

A total of 27 examination centres have been set up by the commission in Aligarh. A total of 11926 candidates are registered in this, who will be able to appear in the examination to be held on Sunday. To enter the examination centre, all the candidates will have to bring their admit card and photo ID with them.

Everyone will be checked before entering the centre, only after that they will be allowed to enter the centre. The administration has made arrangements for cold water and toilets at all the centres. So that the students do not have to face problems for drinking water and basic facilities in the scorching heat. Students will come to Aligarh from many other districts.

The gate will be closed half an hour before

The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will run from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. The second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Candidates will have to enter their center one hour in advance.

As per the instructions of the commission, the gates of the centre will be closed at 9 am, 30 minutes before the start of the examination. After this, no candidate will be allowed to enter the centre. For this, all the officials have also been instructed to allow all the candidates to enter at the scheduled time.

Magistrate will monitor, CCTV will remain operational

DM Visakh G. said that static magistrates have been deployed at all 27 centers of Aligarh for the civil service examination. 27 static magistrates will stay at each center and monitor the examination. Apart from this, there are 9 sector magistrates, who will take charge of 3-3 centers.

Along with magistrates, adequate police force will also be present at every centre. Male and female police personnel will be present, who will keep an eye on all the candidates and check them. Apart from this, CCTV cameras will be on at the centres and the examination rooms will also be monitored through the control room. Immediate action will be taken in case of any disturbance.
