A pregnant woman from Hathras died after drowning in the Ganges while bathing at Rajghat in Bulandshahr. When her body was brought to Hathras Junction at night, there was chaos at home and mourning in the neighborhood.

Poonam (23 years), wife of Neeraj, a resident of Hathras Junction town, went to Rajghat in Bulandshahr to take a bath in the Ganga river along with about 12 family members. While bathing, the woman suddenly drowned in the Ganga. There was a lot of hue and cry at the spot. The people accompanying her searched a lot, but no success was achieved. The family members kept weeping. They informed the local police about this. The police reached the spot after getting the information. After this, divers were called. With the help of divers, the body of this woman was taken out.
The family performed the last rites
When the woman’s body reached home in the evening, there was chaos and silence in the village. After this, the family members cremated the body with tearful eyes. The woman has an innocent daughter.
