Officials remained on alert mode regarding Eid ul Azha.
The administration is on alert mode to maintain peace on the occasion of Eid ul Zuha in Badaun. On Monday morning, DM Manoj Kumar along with SSP Alok Priyadarshi visited major mosques including Idgah along with the police force and alerted the policemen deployed on duty.

Officers reached the city’s Eidgah and mixed population areas like Sotha, Kabulpura, Shahbazpur, Ghantaghar, Lalpul etc. in the morning and took stock of the situation. Since this is the first Eid after the Lok Sabha elections, the system is on alert mode to ensure that mischievous elements do not execute their plans at any level.
Police and PAC deployed since morning
The authorities have made tight security arrangements in the mixed population areas since morning and have deployed a large number of police and PAC. Police are also deployed at the main intersections of the city to maintain security so that no disturbance takes place at any level. The police have already made a list of the unruly elements.

The officials gave clear instructions to the security personnel deployed on duty to keep an eye on every activity happening around. If there is a possibility of an unpleasant incident, inform your reporting officer directly, so that any situation can be controlled in time. During this, ADM Administration Renu Singh, SP City Amit Kishore Srivastava, CO City Alok Mishra etc. were present.
