A grand flower bungalow was built in the Chamunda Devi temple to provide relief from the heat
On the occasion of Ganga Dussehra, religious programs were held in full swing in Braj Bhoomi. Various religious rituals were performed at Chamunda Devi temple located in Jai Singhpura area of Mathura. In the morning, Maa Chamunda was worshipped with 21 pots of water, while in the late evening, Maa Bhagwati was offered Jal Bihar.

On the occasion of Ganga Dussehra, various religious programs were organized at the Siddha Peeth Maa Chamunda Temple in Jai Singhpura. On Ganga Dussehra, devotees performed Jyeshthabhishek of Maa Chamunda with 21 urns and witnessed the water bath of Maa Chamunda. Under the aegis of Maa Chamunda Shakti Peeth Seva Trust, Jyeshthabhishek was performed with 21 urns as per Vedic traditions amidst various religious rituals at the Maa Chamunda Temple in the morning.
Abhishekam done with Ganga and Yamuna water
As part of the event, Maa Chamunda was anointed with the water of the Ganges, Yamuna, milk, curd, honey and kewda, rose water etc. in the urns amidst chanting of Vedic mantras. Mata Rani was offered a chola and was adorned with a grand decoration and was made to wear new clothes. A flower bungalow was decorated in the temple.
Maa Chamunda gave darshan in the middle of artificial Ganga and Yamuna
On Sunday late evening, the temple premises were filled with fragrant water and given the shape of an artificial Ganga-Yamuna. Divine perfumes were added to this water along with petals of various flowers. A fountain was run in front of Maa Chamunda. Maa Chamunda Maiya’s Jal Vihar was seen. Devotees who came from far and wide also witnessed this event.

The temple’s Mahant Vishnu Chaturvedi and Gyanendra Chaturvedi Gyani said that to protect from the heat, Maa Chamunda was given Jyeshthabhishek and Jal Vihar Seva Mahotsav was organized. Anand Chaturvedi, Manorathi family Amarnath Goyal, Trust Minister Kanhaiya Lal Agarwal, Vivek Chaturvedi, Suresh Agarwal, Ashok Dal Wale, Anand Kasere, Mahesh Kasere, Rajesh Bajaj, Pradeep Chaudhary, Rajesh Chaudhary etc. were present in this event.
