UGC NET exams will be held at 18 centres in Varanasi on Tuesday. 11,349 candidates will appear in the first shift and 11,911 in the second shift. The final touches were given to the exam preparations by holding a meeting at Delhi Public School (DPS) today. The exams will be held in 2 shifts in the morning.

In this meeting, a strict protocol has been made to prevent cheating and negligence during the exam. The distribution of exam material, monitoring and emergency situations were discussed in detail. Mukesh Shelat, the city coordinator appointed for this exam, said that following the guidelines laid down by the NTA, a fair and transparent examination process will be ensured. The meeting was attended by the center superintendents, deputy superintendents and supervisors of 18 schools of Varanasi. Also, officials of the National Testing Agency were also present.
