Officers of the tehsil and police administration were on alert since morning regarding the Bakrid Namaaz in Sakaldiha of Chandauli on Monday. Bakrid Namaaz was offered at Jama Masjid and Chhoti Masjid of Sakaldiha town and half a dozen mosques and Idgahs of the Kotwali area.

During this time, Muslim brothers hugged each other and congratulated each other on Bakrid. On this occasion, SDM Anupam Mishra, Tehsildar Rahul Singh were stationed at the place of prayer along with the police force. People started gathering at Jama Masjid since morning for Bakrid prayers.
Crowd started gathering since morning
Imam Hafiz Ghulam Rabbani started the prayers at the scheduled time. Imam led the prayers at the Choti Masjid. Apart from this, Muslim brothers offered prayers safely at other places including Barthi, Padumnathpur, Bathawar.
On the other hand, SDM Anupam Mishra, CO Raghuraj, Tehsildar Rahul Singh, Kotwal Sanjay Kumar Singh along with the police force remained busy in ensuring that the namaz was conducted safely till 10 o’clock. On this occasion, Dr. Akbar, Dr. Shah Alam, Imran, Nasir Ali, Sarfaraz, Arman, Lallu Khan, Javed, Muqeed, Anwar, Sahil and others were present.
