Despite complaints about the street lights being out of order for several months in Kanshiram Colony of Municipal Corporation Zone 6 of the capital, the Municipal Corporation clerks are not getting the lights repaired.

Whereas, regarding the malfunction of street lights, the Divisional Commissioner along with the Municipal Commissioner had given strict instructions to all the responsible officers to take immediate action on receiving information about any street light being faulty, but no action was taken on their orders.
There is power crisis in the houses of the colony due to electricity problem.
Let us tell you that the Kashiram Colony located in Hanskheda of Para area of Zone 6 of the Municipal Corporation remains in darkness due to the street lights being out of order. But the Municipal Corporation officials of Zone 6 neither pay attention to the problem of the area nor take any action on receiving information about the problem.
Local residents Vimalesh Shrivastava, Rahul Singh, Ashutosh Saxena said that the Municipal Corporation was informed several times about the malfunctioning of street lights but the street light department of the Municipal Corporation did not take any action due to which people have to travel on dark roads.
