Road dug under every home water tap scheme | Road dug under every home water tap scheme: People are facing problems due to lack of road in Sonbhadra, there will be more problems in the rain – Sonbhadra News

These days, the work of laying the pipeline is going on under the Har Ghar Jal Nal Yojana under the Robertsganj flyover in Sonbhadra. The Jal Nigam has been laying the pipeline in the middle of the subway under the flyover for the last one and a half months.

,

The rule was that after laying the pipe from one side, it would be pitched. But the road is being dug up and left as it is, due to which dust is flying on the busy road throughout the day. Amidst all this, the toll company and the municipal administration have raised questions on the functioning of the Jal Nigam and have demanded intervention from the District Magistrate.

Let us tell you that the monsoon season will start in a week and in such a situation, people are getting restless. Because due to rain, the road will be completely submerged. If road repair work is not done before the monsoon, then the highways already facing waterlogging will prove to be fatal.

The situation is similar in rural areas too

The situation is such that the departmental negligence is not limited to the district headquarters. This is the situation everywhere in rural areas where the pipe line of the tap water scheme has been laid. Despite repeated instructions from the District Magistrate, the Jal Nigam is completely silent.

Let us tell you that the issue of flyover was also raised in front of DM in Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas on Saturday, in view of which DM has directed to issue notice to XEN of Jal Nigam.

When asked about this, Mahendra Singh, Executive Engineer, Jal Nigam, said that road construction work could not be started due to implementation of Model Code of Conduct. Now the contractor has been selected. Repair of the dug up road will be started.
