A tragic accident took place in Gorakhpur on Tuesday night. Advocate Ashok Kumar Singh (48) died after being hit by a bus. He was going home on his bike when he fell after colliding with a car near Chhatra Sangh Chowk in the Cantt area. Meanwhile, he was hit by a bus coming from behind.

He was rushed to the district hospital, where doctors declared him dead after examination. The police have informed the family about the incident. Meanwhile, the car driver fled with the car.
Advocates were returning home from court
Actually, Ashok Kumar Singh, a resident of Jungle Ramgarh alias Chauri in Khorabar area, used to practice in the civil court. Like every day, after finishing his court work, he left for home on his bike. He had just reached near the Students’ Union Chowk when suddenly a car hit his bike.
Police is searching for the car driver through CCTV
He suddenly fell on the road and was hit by a bus coming from behind and got seriously injured. People passing by informed the police about the accident and took the injured to the district hospital. There the doctors declared him dead. The police have informed Ashok Singh’s family. The police is searching for the car with the help of CCTV cameras, which caused the accident.
