In Dharsanda village of Kursi police station area of Barabanki, the tension between different communities over land that was going on for several days turned into a conflict. During the feast, the other party pelted stones. In which six people were injured. A case was filed on the complaint of the party organising the feast.

There is a dispute between two groups over a piece of land outside the village in Dharsanda. Both the parties perform their religious rituals there. One party was organizing a feast and at the same time a trench was being dug with a JCB to resolve the land dispute. This led to a tussle and in the evening the other party started throwing bricks and stones at the feast. This caused a stampede in the feast. People from both the sides came face to face.
Seeing the matter getting worse, people informed the police. Police reached the spot and found Arun, Narendra Pal, Banshilal, Ram Ghulam, Sumit Neelam etc. who had attended the feast from the village injured. They were sent to the hospital. Police from Kursi, Deva, Ghunghater and Baddupur police station are deployed at the spot. Late in the evening, Fatehpur CO Dr. Binu Singh reached the spot and investigated. She said that FIR is being registered against many people.
