A webinar was organised through Zoom app regarding Operation Jagriti.

Operation Jagriti was launched in Agra zone to reduce crimes against women. It was successful and cases of filing false cases using women as shields had reduced. It was stopped due to elections, and preparations are on to restart it.

Operation Jagriti has been started as a pilot project only in Agra zone of Uttar Pradesh with the aim of reducing crimes against women and making them aware. It is understood that after seeing its success here, the government plans to implement it in the entire Uttar Pradesh.

This project will produce a study in Agra zone, whose data and research will be used for women empowerment, awareness and self-reliance across the state. UNICEF is playing the role of the main partner in this entire project. Apart from this, the cooperation of school and college teachers, social welfare organizations and media persons is also being taken.

Regarding Operation Jagriti, a webinar was organized for the implementation of Operation Jagriti Phase 2 under the leadership and direction of Additional Director General of Police, Agra Zone through Zoom App. Officers participated in it through offline and online medium. Operation Jagriti Phase 2 campaign will be run from 24 June to 13 July.
