India women’s cricket team opening batsman Smriti Mandhana scored a century for the second consecutive match against South Africa.

Mandhana scored 136 runs in the second ODI being played in Bengaluru on Wednesday. Mandhana had scored 117 runs in the first ODI. Captain Harmanpreet also scored a century in today’s match. Team India has given a target of 326 runs to South Africa. For the first time, the Indian team crossed the 300 mark on home ground in ODI cricket.

South Africa won the toss and decided to field first. Batting first, India scored 325 runs for 3 wickets in 50 overs. South Africa, chasing the runs, has lost 3 batsmen and the score has not even reached 100.

Mandhana played an innings of 136 runs on 120 balls. She hit 18 fours and 2 sixes. During this, her strike rate was 113. After 23 overs in the match, India’s score was 100/2 and then Harmanpreet Kaur along with Mandhana attacked South Africa again. Taking advantage of this, Harmanpreet Kaur also completed her sixth century in the last over, she scored 103 runs in 88 balls. Richa Ghosh remained unbeaten with Harmanpreet on 25 runs.
