An accident took place on Thursday morning on Jhansi Kanpur National Highway 27 in Jalaun. Here, while trying to overtake a trolley, a bike rider lost his balance and collided with the trolley, due to which he died on the spot. After the incident, the driver left the trolley and fled from the spot.

The incident took place near the NTPC power plant located on Jhansi Kanpur National Highway-27 under the Et Kotwali area. Shivam (30) son of Bablu, a resident of village Kamtari of Kailiya police station area, had come to Et on his Apache bike. He was going from Et to Orai on his bike in the morning for some work. When he reached in front of the NTPC plant on the Jhansi Kanpur highway, he tried to overtake the trolley going ahead, but Shivam lost balance on the bike and collided with the trolley and got hit by it.
Long traffic jam on one side of the highway
The bike rider died on the spot after being hit by the trolley. After the accident, the driver left the trolley and fled from the spot. After the accident, there was a long jam on one side of the highway. Meanwhile, the police sent the body for postmortem in the highway ambulance. The traffic was restored after removing the damaged vehicle. Shivam’s family was informed about the accident over the phone. Inspector in charge Vimlesh Kumar says that the trolley has been taken into custody and parked in the police station premises. On receiving the complaint, a case will be registered and further action will be taken.
The police arrived after receiving information about the youth’s death and investigated.
