Action was taken against negligence in the case between two communities in Turkahan of Khadda police station area in Kushinagar. A case was registered on Thursday against eight people including the village head representative for offering namaz at the disputed place. Action was taken against negligence in this serious matter.

Turkha Gram Panchayat of Khadda Nagar has new fallow land. There was a complaint that it was being encroached upon, which was spoiling the atmosphere of the village. A Hindu-Muslim issue arose in the village with Ramashra and Radhe Shyam from one side and Jamaluddin, Nasiruddin and Mustafa from the other side. When the matter escalated, it was decided in the agreement between the two communities on April 9, 2024 that no party would interfere in it. Violating this, about 100 people gathered on this disputed land on Bakrid and started offering Namaz. When this news spread in the village, tension started increasing. Instead of taking action, the police pacified the matter by convincing both the parties.
A case was filed against 11
On June 17, Radheshyam and Ramashry had written a letter to the Chief Minister and complained about it on IGRS. After taking cognizance of it, on Thursday SP Dhawal Jaiswal suspended the police station in-charge and two inspectors. A case has been registered against 11 people including Gram Pradhan representative Kedar Yadav and Pramod Yadav, Jamaluddin, Mustafa, Ashraf. All of them have also been arrested by the police.
