District Magistrate Visakh G. reached the stadium late Thursday evening and took stock of the arrangements.

Aligarh in-charge minister Choudhary Laxmi Narayan is coming to Aligarh on Friday. He will reach Aligarh city at 5:30 am and then attend the 10th Yoga Day program to be held at the stadium. He will participate in the program as the chief guest.

Along with the minister in charge, various public representatives and officials of the district will also be present in the stadium, who will participate in the Yoga Day program. For this, various arrangements have been made in Aligarh by the district administration. District Magistrate Visakh G. also inspected the arrangements of the stadium on Thursday evening by inspecting it along with a team of officials.

Will meet the families of the victims of Jammu accident

The minister-in-charge will attend the program to be held at the district stadium at 5:45 am. He will be present here as the chief guest and will participate in the Yoga Day program. After this, he will leave for Naya village of Iglas tehsil at 10:30 am.

In Naya village, the minister in charge will meet the families of the victims of the bus accident in Jammu and Kashmir. After meeting the victim families, he will distribute cheques of financial assistance from the government to the families of those who lost their lives in the accident. Along with this, he will express condolences.

12 people from Aligarh had lost their lives

A bus fell down while going to Shivkhodi in Akhnoor, Jammu. A total of 22 people from Aligarh Hathras lost their lives in this. Out of these, 12 people were from Naya village of Iglas. Many people from the same family lost their lives in the accident.

Many families were wiped out in the accident. After which the entire village was filled with grief. The government had announced financial aid of Rs 5 lakhs for their families. The minister in charge is going to the village on Friday to give this amount and will meet the victims.
