On Friday, a girl jumped into the Hindon river in Ghaziabad after getting upset with her brother. The NDRF team has started a search operation in the Hindon river, but the girl has not been found yet.

ACP Swatantra Kumar Singh of Indirapuram Circle said, on Friday morning at 11 o’clock, Kaushambi police station received information that 20-year-old Pooja Singh, a resident of Vaishali Chowki area, has jumped on the 5/6 culvert of Hindon river. On this information, the police immediately started the investigation by engaging private divers. On not getting success, the police informed the NDRF. Now the team of NDRF divers has started the search operation.
ACP said, initial investigation has revealed that Pooja Singh had some dispute with her brother this morning. After which she left the house and jumped into the Hindon river. At present, efforts are being made to search for the girl.
