A woman’s body was found floating in the Ram Ganga Poshak Canal in Naugawan Sadat police station area of Amroha this evening. When the villagers saw the woman’s body lying in the canal, they immediately informed the police about the matter. Police reached the spot as soon as they got the information. Along with this, the body was taken to the spot.

Police busy in identifying the dead body
The body was searched by a female police personnel. But the body could not be identified. Police station in-charge Sudhir Kumar said that the body of the woman is several days old. The woman’s age is around 30-35 years. The body has been taken into custody. Efforts are being made to identify the body.
